Architek LLC is an architectural firm based in Northern New Jersey, which has been serving the greater New Jersey and New York area for over 30 years. We are committed to excellence in design. We specialize in residential renovations and new construction with a sub-specialty in general-use office and medical/dental suites. While we bring a strong sense of design to the table and believe that a building should ’belong’, we also respect the vision of our clients and work closely with them to see that their dreams become vibrant realities. Zev Lazar

Architect/Owner

Zev graduated from the Pratt Institute and has been a practicing architect for over 40 years. Zev has received awards for his architectural services. Zev resides in New Jersey with his wife, and loves spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Jozef Szarlej

Associate Architect

Joe brings over 20 years of design, drafting and 3D modeling experience to Architek LLC, using programs such as Auto CAD and Revit. Together with his passion for design, his skills enable us to assist our clients and turn their dream project into a reality. Joe lives in New Jersey with his wife and children.
